GDEA is proudly certified with IWA, one of the UK’s most trusted Deposit & Guarantee Protection providers. This certification means our customers enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing their deposits and guarantees are fully protected under IWA’s insurance-backed policies
Deposit Protection
Insurance Guarantee
About Essentially when a deposit is collected the installing contractor should notify us of this and we will provide the homeowner with deposit protection insurance which is intended to put your customer back in the same financial position as they were should the installing contractor cease to trade before the installation is started/completed.
Insurance-backed guarantees safeguard homes and boost customer faith in installers.
A workmanship guarantee requires the installing contractor to fix installation flaws, but it doesn’t promise they’ll be around. An insurance-backed guarantee honors the installation contractor’s promise if the contractor does not trade and cannot pay corrective claims against their workmanship guarantee. If a homeowner finds a workmanship issue and the installation contractor has closed, they may claim against the insurance-backed warranty.
