Heat Pumps Installation for Your Home or Business in Hornsea

Coastal properties bring their own considerations when it comes to heating, exposure to wind and salt air, older building materials in some of the town’s established streets, and newer builds further back from the seafront. A heat pump installation needs to account for all of that, not just the size of the property.

Our MCS-accredited engineers carry out heat pump installation in Hornsea from survey through to commissioning. We’ll look at how your home’s built, how it’s currently heated, and what’s realistic for your situation before recommending anything, so you’re working from an honest assessment rather than a standard quote.

Why Choose EcoGDEA for Heat Pump Installation?

We work out exactly what your property needs before specifying a system, rather than rounding up to whatever's easiest to install.

Survey, installation, and aftercare are handled by the same team, so nothing gets lost in handover between different contractors.

Not every property suits a heat pump as it stands. If yours needs work first, like insulation or radiator upgrades, we'll say so upfront rather than fit a system that underperforms.

Having installed solar and battery storage systems too, we understand how heating decisions fit into a property's wider energy setup.

    Which System to choose?

    Air-To-Water System

Connects into your existing radiators or underfloor heating, making it a practical option if you’re replacing a gas or oil boiler. It performs best with larger radiators or underfloor heating, since these suit the lower, steadier temperatures a heat pump produces compared to a traditional boiler.

    Air-To-Air System

Heats the air inside your property directly rather than running through a wet heating system. These units generally don’t produce hot water, so you’d need a separate arrangement for that. They can work well in properties without existing radiator pipework, or where ducted heating already makes sense.

    Ground Heat Pumps

Uses buried pipework to draw heat from the ground, which holds a fairly stable temperature across the year. This means the system doesn’t have to work as hard through colder months. It needs outdoor space for the loop, or a borehole where that’s limited, so it’s a bigger job to install but one that can offer lower running costs over time.

It depends on your property's size, current heating setup, and insulation. We'll give you an accurate figure after visiting and surveying the property.

It can. Exposure to salt air and wind can be a factor in unit placement and material choice, so we'll account for this as part of your survey.

Sometimes. Since heat pumps run at lower temperatures than a boiler, smaller radiators may need upsizing to heat rooms properly. We'll check this during your visit.

Most homes are completed within two to three days, though this can extend if radiator upgrades or extra pipework are needed.

It depends on the building's insulation and current heating system. We'll assess this honestly, and flag anything that needs addressing before installation for the best results.
